Log growing mushroom is an accessible and successful option for easy, practical, and rewarding food growth. Learn about growing mushrooms in an informative presentation followed by hands-on log inoculation. Suitable for youth 12+ years and adults, participants take home their own inoculated log and gain the skills and knowledge to grow mushrooms for years to come. 

Taught by Molly Abbott, owner of the Victoria-based company, Healthy Garden and Landscape. Abbot has taught both the Organic Master Gardener and Food Growing courses for Gaia College at Royal Roads University.
