The City of New Westminster is prioritizing residents' access to programs and services.

 

Seasonal registration will now open on three dates instead of two. Due to high demand for aquatic programs, swimming lessons will have their own separate registration date.

 

This change will start with the Summer Season. Registration will open at 10:00 am

 

This change is designed to reduce stress for registrants and support staff. Residents will no longer need to prioritize swimming registration over other programs on registration day, and staff will have more time to manage waitlists and prioritize resident access.

 

In addition, residents also have access to limited-capacity drop-in sessions, and lower fees for sports field rentals.
