New Westminster is already experiencing the impacts of climate change, including extreme heat, flooding, and wildfire smoke.

The City has drafted a Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience Plan to help our community prepare for and respond to these challenges. The draft plan outlines proposed actions to strengthen resilience, support those most affected, and guide how we plan for a changing climate.

We are now seeking feedback on the draft plan, including the proposed actions and overall structure, before it is finalized.
