The City internal telephone system will have its time zone changed to align with the new BC time zone, permanent day light time, on October 28 starting at 5:30 pm. All components of the phone system will be restarted to ensure all changes take effect prior to November 1. 

Intermittent outages of telephone services are expected as all components are restarted after the changes. This includes phone lines at recreation facilities. 

Outages are expected to be brief. If you are not able to reach a facility please call back a few minutes later.
