A big congratulations to New Westminster for winning the Shoephy for Top Municipality in the WALK30 Challenge! There were a total of 205 participants walking on behalf of Team New Westminster. The city had the highest number of walking minutes per capita, clocking an impressive 2.74 minutes!

 

For now, the highly-coveted Shoephy sits with the City of New Westminster. We look forward to sharing details of the 2027 WALK30 event once they are available.

WALK30 is a friendly competition designed to encourage and inspire people to establish a daily walking routine. Participants are challenged to walk 30 minutes daily for 30 days, track their progress, and build a consistent habit of walking.
